Angry student protesters bombarded an event hosted by the College Republicans at the University of Michigan and repeatedly mocked and harassed the invited speaker, libertarian scholar Charles Murray.
For 40 minutes, the protesters held up signs, shouted chants, and even flashed a projector on the wall behind Murray to label him a “white supremacist.” As they occupied the space, the angry students screamed, “Charles Murray go away; sexist, racist, KKK!” One protester stood up, pointed at Mr. Murray and proclaimed, “You, sir, are killing us!” It was reported that the childish SJWs all set their phone alarms to go off at the same time.
When a university public affairs director tried to quiet down the room so the speech could actually happen, he, too, was shouted down:
“We’ve been silent too long! Stop silencing students of color!”

One reason the students targeted the political scientist was because of the books he’s authored: The Bell Curve: Intelligence and Class Structure in American Life and Coming Apart: The State of White America, 1960-2010. Not that any of them have read them, mind you. They’ve just heard they’re “offensive.”
Murray was the target of physical attacks earlier this year at Vermont’s Middlebury College after he tried to give a speech there. He and Middlebury Professor Allison Stanger had to be taken to safety to escape the mob. However, later, as the two left the facility, the mob attacked, injuring Stanger and sending her to the hospital.
Thankfully, the crowd at Michigan eventually left and those that remained were able to listen in peace.
Murray took it like a champ:
I Mich lecture: 1st half same old SJWS caterwauling. They left. Interesting discussion with the remnant. Martini just arrived. Later.
